On grief and loss

From the loss of a childhood home or a job we loved through to the death of someone close to us - parent, partner, friend or child. These are almost always difficult to talk about. In fact they're often not talked about at all. Yet these matters of the heart touch each of us, throughout our lives. The general silence around loss makes grief a little more mysterious, unknown and perhaps something we're mostly quite uncomfortable with.

Our storyteller this week will be Annie Bolitho, who has a flair for bringing out the beauty in everyday things and particularly so in her exploration of ritual, grief and uncertainty.
